Directions to Camp

Please take our advice and follow these directions instead of using your GPS or online mapping software!

From New York / Connecticut

  1. Take I-91 North through Connecticut and Massachusetts into Vermont.
  2. Take Exit 14 in Thetford, Vermont.
  3. Turn left onto Route 113 and continue 3.5 miles, through Thetford Hill and Thetford Center.
  4. Turn left onto Sawnee Bean Road.
  5. Follow Sawnee Bean 4.3 miles to its end at a T. When you come to the large, beautiful horse farm, bear right to stay on Sawnee Bean.
  6. At the end of Sawnee Bean, turn right onto Miller Pond Road.
  7. The camp entrance (Thoreau Way) is 2/10 of a mile ahead on your left.
  8. After turning into camp, stay right into the Guest Parking lot.

From Boston

  1. Take I-93 North to I-89 North to I-91 North.
  2. Take I-91 North to Exit 14 in Thetford, Vermont.
  3. Turn left onto Route 113 and continue 3.5 miles, through Thetford Hill and Thetford Center.
  4. Turn left onto Sawnee Bean Road.
